A national leader in industrial thermal systems is looking for a HSE Manager to support their operations in Mississauga. Reporting to the Senior HSE Director, this role will support health and safety program implementation and play a key role in future strategic health and safety program development for the organization. The Role:

• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE program across sites
• Provide technical HSE advise and support to guide supervisors and employees to ensure compliance with regulatory and HSE program requirements
• Undertake safety inspections, investigations and audits as deemed necessary - reporting back to leadership regarding best practice and key focus areas
• Provide support in the development and implementation of safety training for superintendents and job-site teams
• Work closely with the Director HSE in the development of the safety program 

The Candidate:

• 8+ years' experience in a Health and Safety role (preference for industrial or construction settings) 
• Post secondary degree or diploma in Health and Safety, Construction Management or other related discipline
• Strong communicator across all levels of the business, with the ability to multi-task and think on their feet
• Strong change management and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport
