A large food manufacturing company in Toronto is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to foster a robust safety culture, ensure compliance, and support multiple locations. Collaborate with teams, track safety performance, and liaise with regulators, reporting to the H&S Manager.

The Role:

• Cultivate a strong safety culture by providing training, and coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Collaborate with teams, track safety performance, and conduct risk assessments.

• Support multiple locations, maintain safety protocols, and liaise with regulatory bodies.

• Report to the H&S Manager and foster a positive safety atmosphere.

The Candidate:

• Possess a degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or equivalent OSHA compliance experience.

• Bring 3+ years of Health and Safety experience, with 1+ year of management preferred.

• Demonstrate strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

• Show familiarity with safety regulations, a positive attitude, and alignment with company values.
