Job description
An international consulting company is looking for a Principal Scientist. The incumbent will be tasked with GRAS notifications and ensuring that the client's needs meet or exceed all customer and regulatory requirements.
The role:
- Work collaboratively to guide clients on matters related to food ingredients compliance
- Expertise in FDA food safety frameworks
- Work directly with clients to author submission documents
- Successfully bring GRAS and novel food ingredients to market on time and on budget
The candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Science, toxicology, or molecular biology
- Ph.D. preferred
- 5+ years of consulting with experience in regulatory science as related to food manufacturing
- Hands-on approach, able to engage with employees and clients at all levels
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong technical foundation
